IPL Photorejuvenation
What is a Photofacial?
Our Photofacial process is used for the treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions on the face, as well as the arms, chest, and other large areas. Using the LuxY, LuxG and LuxB, the Photofacial process is able to clear sunspots, rosacea, telangiectasias, and other conditions, in order to improve skin tone.
Treating a pigmented lesion with the pulsed light results in heating the melanin. The damaged lesion is then naturally sloughed as the skin exfoliates. Similar results are seen in the treatment of vascular lesions. The absorption of the light in oxyhemoglobin, de-oxyhemoglobin, and the resultant thermal action inside the blood vessels result in intraluminal coagulation, vasoconstriction, and damage to the vessel endothelial lining, all of which contribute to the degeneration and disappearance of any visible vessels.
What are Photofacial treatments like?
A treatment generally lasts 15 to 30 minutes. Immediately following a treatment, the skin may appear red and flushed and tiny capillaries may appear more visible. Brown spots may appear darker, but these disappear gradually in a matter of hours.
How Skin Rejuvenation Works
Generally results are obtained in 3-6 treatments. In rare cases one may require more.
We offers skin care lasers and pulsed light devices that deliver energy to target and destroy vascular and pigmented lesions associated with spider veins, reticular veins, rosacea, telangiectasias, hemangiomas, sun damage, age spots, dyschromia, melasma, poikiloderma, and angiomas from hands, legs, chest, arms and face.
Using the principle of selective photothermolysis, these treatments target different chromophores in the skin, which selectively absorb the laser or light energy as heat and yield the desired response. These optimal wavelengths of light clear vascular and pigmented lesions by targeting the chromophores of hemoglobin (for vascular lesions) and melanin (for pigmented lesions). These damaged lesions are then cleared by the body, removing the appearance of the lesion from the skin. Pigmented lesions undergo a mild desquamation and slough off within two or three days, while the vascular lesions blanch and then resolve within 10 to 14 days.
For many people, looking great is a simple matter of a skin rejuvenation treatment for pigment and vessel clearance to reveal clearer, more attractive skin. We have a treatment for pigment and vessel clearance that's fast, easy and well-tolerated. We puts the power of pulsed light and lasers in your hands to strategically clear vascular and pigmented lesions. The secret of our pulsed light's performance lies in our dual filter technology that delivers optimally filtered wavelengths of pulsed light, for results as good as or better than those of competitive single-application lasers.
You'll save time with one system for a wide range of treatment procedures, including vein removal, rosacea, telangiectasias, hemangiomas, sun damage, dyschromia, melasma, poikiloderma, and angiomas on the face and other body areas. Our clients enjoy more comfortable procedures with excellent outcomes and less downtime.

How IPL and Laser Acne Treatments Work
IPL treatment for preventing future acne breakouts delivers a spectrum of light that is absorbed by porphyrins within skin, destroying P. acnes bacteria and inhibiting future acne breakouts.
To treat acne scars, we use pulses of laser light to coagulate scar tissue and trigger healthy new tissue to form in clients' skin. Healing time is minimal, infection risk is eliminated and clients feel little to no pain.
Generally the patient requires 6—8 treatments. In rare cases one may need more.

Optimized Light for Treatment of Vascular
Lesions of the Face

Vascular lesions of the face are a common problem for photodamaged skin. Examples of these vascular lesions include:
- Telangiectasia
- Rosacea
- Angiomas
- Hemangiomas
- Reticular Veins
- Port Wine Stains
One of the challenges of treating vascular lesions is the inherent variety in the size and depth of the blood vessels. Successfully treating vascular lesions require destruction of these blood vessels while dealing with these challenges.
We offer an excellent solution with customized features such as Dynamic Spectrum ShiftingSM , dual-band filters and Smooth PulseSM technology - which provide more uniform heating across the entire diameter of larger vessels and increased client comfort. And now the 4mm Small Spot Adaptor accessory is available for treating small vessels on darker skin types.
Optimized Light handpiece offers superior vessel and pigment clearance that rivals single-wavelength lasers in performance.
Generally the patient requires 3-6 treatments. In rare cases one may need more.
What areas can be treated?
Treatments can be applied on any part of the skin, but are especially effective in improving the appearance of the face, neck, and chest.
How soon will I see results from Photofacial?
After your first treatment, your skin will feel smoother and will have a more even tone. Best results are achieved after 4 - 8 treatments, depending on the condition of your skin.
What are the advantages of IPL over chemical peel?
Chemical peels will not reduce redness and flushing or dilated capillaries. Before the IPL technology came along, there was no effective treatment for flushing or facial or neck redness.
Who should get an IPL treatment?
People who suffer from rosacea and experience flushing and redness of their skin.
- People with early aging changes and sun damage who want to recover the youthful glow of their skin.
- People who do not want to take time off to heal from laser resurfacing or chemical peels.
