How does it work?

Fremont Laser Med Spa announces the arrival of the ZERONA^™, the only non-invasive, body slimming, laser treatment, to its practice, making Dr. Kojian one of the first physicians to offer the ZERONA™ now in Fremont location.

ZERONA^™ uses a patented laser technology developed by Erchonia, the global leader in low-level laser healthcare applications. The results were proven effective through a double-blind, randomized, multi-site, and placebo-controlled study.

Clinical studies demonstrated that the ZERONA^™ low-level laser targets adipose tissue (fat storing cells) and stimulates the fat cell to liquefy the fat within the cell. A small pore is then naturally created in the protective membrane of the fat cell enabling the fatty matter to seep out of the cell until absorbed by the lymphatic system. The excess fat is then passed out of the body during its normal course of detoxification which results in millions of fat cells becoming smaller and inches are reduced.

What is treatment like?

The ZERONA laser experience is simple. Patients lie on their front side for approximately 20 minutes, and their back for 20 minutes. During this time, arrays of lasers focus painless energy on the target areas simultaneously. This relaxing experience means patients can sleep, read, or simply enjoy the solitude. There is no pain, heat, or swelling involved.

There is no downtime post-procedure, and patients are free to resume normal activity such as work, exercising, etc. However, it is recommended that patients stay hydrated, maintain a healthy diet, and abstain from excessive alcohol and caffeine, as these substances can impede the lymphatic metabolizing process and decrease results.

How many sessions will I need?

The ZERONA laser typically requires around six to twelve sessions for optimal results. For optimum results follow the diet and then do Zerona .Once you start Zerona must do 2 to 3 treatments per week for optimum results.

What is the difference between liposuction and ZERONA laser?

ZERONA laser does not require the insertion of cannulas to physically remove fat with suction. Instead, it emulsifies subcutaneous fat using "cold" lasers, and therefore is a non-invasive alternative requiring no compression garments, bandages, sutures, or anesthesia. Eliminating the need for a surgical procedure also eliminates the bleeding, bruising, soreness, and down-time of traditional liposuction. Am I a good candidate?

Due to its gentle and non-invasive nature, almost everyone is eligible for ZERONA laser. However, those who are pregnant should not participate, as well as patients with pacemaker devices, or certain thyroid disorders.

ZERONA^™ utilizes the ErchoniA^™ Laser Scanner, the safest and most researched low-level laser in the world. How Triglycerides and Fatty Acids Escape with ZERONA^™

These images show the formation of a transitory pore forming in the bi-lipid membrane of an adipose cell. This pore is the direct result of safe, low-level laser stimulation and the reason why the triglycerides and fatty acids are able to move into the interstitial space.
